Early February 2025, the SMARTSHAPE consortium gathered in Rome, where our partner Explora Biotech srl is located.

Since our previous in-person consortium meeting last year, the project has made significant progress in its road to continuous blood pressure monitoring:

🌟 The sensor and reader design have been further optimised.
🌟 The first preclinical pilot tests have been done and show promising results.
🌟 We’ve created a clear foundation for SMARTSHAPE’s roadmap to the market, integrating both patient and clinician perspectives.

Next, we will start exploring this roadmap and preparing for our first interactions with regulatory bodies – an important step toward shaping the future of hypertension care.
