William Wijns
Principal Investigator at University of Galway
Professor William Wijns is an esteemed cardiologist and a key contributor to the EU Horizon SMARTSHAPE project.

David Connolly
Programme Manager at University of Galway
Originally a Science graduate in Microbiology, David holds postgraduate degrees in Applied Microbiology, Biochemistry and Management.
3. Claudia Catarino
Cláudia Catarino​
Programme Administrator at University of Galway
Cláudia graduated from the University of Lisbon with a Bachelor degree in Modern Languages and Literatures for English and Portuguese Studies and has since then been involved in several projects of training implementation and management in multidisciplinary teams.

Hannah earned a masters in marketing in 2017 from Clemson University and a masters in clinical research in 2020 from the University of Galway.

Postdoctoral Researcher at University of Galway
Mehedi Masud received the B.S. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Bangladesh, the M.S. degree in electronics engineering from Politecnico di Milano, and the Ph.D. degree in electronics engineering, sensors and instrumentation from the University of Brescia, Italy, in 2018.
